Overall summary:
We are looking for a Process Analyst profile with knowledge of end to end financial processes, external or internal audit/control experience, understanding of the main control points in finance and related fields. The role includes the coordination of monthly financial control processes (e.g. monitoring of reconciliations, CAPEX reporting, etc.), follow-up of internal audit recommendations, assistance in external audits (collection and review of documents), improvement of the documentation of financial procedures (e.g. data collection, writing and review of procedures and policies) and carrying out of individual control tasks. The Process Analyst works in the Regional Financial team of EEFT segment of Euronet, contributing to the harmonisation of processes and procedures among ~30 countries and entities.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring control effectiveness and efficiency
  • Monitor existing monthly controls (e.g. reconciliations)
  • Check quantity and quality of proofs of documentation
  • Monitor CAPEX spending and reporting
  • Assist in ATM stock control
  • Improve invoicing control
  • Participate in Intercompany allocation process - in cooperation with Transfer pricing and Central Operations teams
  • Align, integrate, and collaborate with countries' financial teams in order to ensure common understanding of control points and focus on common objectives
Internal and external audit support
  • Regular follow-up of internal audit recommendations with the local finance teams and other functional areas
  • Participation in data / document collection required for internal and external audits
  • Review of documents collected for internal or external audit purposes
  • Perform own checks/controls if needed
Improvement of financial procedures and policies
  • Carry out data collection and process review in the fields identified by Regional management and executive team
  • Identify points for improvement or harmonisation and propose solutions
  • Improve documentation: prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, policies or "one pager" descriptions of processes or controls
Harmonisation and development
  • Contribute to the harmonisation of the processes of Euronet EEFT Region taking into consideration the country/business specificities where applicable
  • Strive to electronic/digital solutions whereever possible
  • Participate in system improvements or changes
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-8 years’ experience in Finance within a multinational organization preferably in industries with high transaction volume
  • Experience with financial procedures at a multinational company
  • External or internal audit/control experience
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Structural thinking, good writing skills, ability to create flow charts
  • Good analytical skills
